3. About Me (Biography) :

I was born in Majuli, the world’s largest river island in Assam. My father is Mr. Boparam Nath and my mother is Mrs. Bhadra Devi. I completed my schooling in Majuli, pursued my graduation from Majuli College, and obtained my post-graduation degree from Dibrugarh University.

I began my academic career as an Assistant Professor at Dr. Nobin Bordoloi College on 2nd August 2002. Throughout my career, I have actively participated in several national and international workshops and conferences to enhance my academic and professional growth. I have also presented research papers at various national and international seminars.

I am married to Mr. Utpal Bordoloi, who is also an Assistant Professor at Dr. Nobin Bordoloi College. Currently, I reside in Borsoikata Thenal Gaon in Jorhat district, Assam.

Teaching Activities:

As an affiliated college of Dibrugarh University, we follow the prescribed syllabus and teaching guidelines of the University in delivering education to our students. Classes for general students are conducted using a combination of traditional teaching methods and ICT-enabled approaches. In addition, tutorial classes are arranged for slow learners as per the directives of the higher authority.

Furthermore, to enhance students’ understanding and engagement, group discussions, field survey, seminars, and sessional examinations are conducted regularly in accordance with the curriculum requirements and academic guidelines.

Involvement in the University Activities:

Execute examination duties as Question Paper Setter, AOC, Whole Timer, Evaluator, invigilator held by Dibrugarh University in UG Examinations.
