The Department of Political Science at Dr. Nobin Bordoloi College has been shaping students since 1986, offering BA (Major & Minor) under Dibrugarh University. The department is currently led by Md. Muktarual Hoque.

Purpose
To nurture informed, ethical and socially responsible citizens equipped with a critical understanding of politics, governance and democracy, to contribute meaningfully to nation-building and inclusive development in Assam and India.
To provide quality education in political theory, governance and international relations, and to develop informed, critical-thinking citizens equipped with analytical skills, ethical values and civic responsibility.
