About the Department

The Department of History at Dr. Nobin Bordoloi College has been shaping students since 1995, offering BA (Major & Minor) — FYUGP under Dibrugarh University. The department is currently led by Rongai Bhuyan.

Departmental Activities

The department publishes its wall magazine, “Soumar,” every year, showcasing the creative and intellectual talents of students. It regularly conducts student seminars, group discussions and viva-voce examinations, emphasises practical learning through field studies, and provides personalised support through consistent student counselling sessions.
